Dr. Lamise

Dr. LamiseDr. Lamise Elkhalil, known to her patients as Dr. Lamise, has a gentle approach to healing. She is well known for her passionate desire to help better her patient’s lives and her devotion to every one of her patients.

Dr. Lamise's passion for medicine developed at a young age when she began volunteering for Dr. Yasin MD, physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist and Dr. Khan DC, a world renowned pain specialist and researcher. The beautiful science and philosophy of naturopathic medicine intrigued Dr. Lamise. It was the element of naturopathic medicine that ascertains that healing could only be achieved when the cause of the patient's ailment is addressed and to treat the whole person through individualized treatments that resonated so deeply with Dr. Lamise.

 

Susan Rai MA, RCC

Susan Rai is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (R.C.C) with the B.C.   Association of Clinical Counsellors. She earned her Masters Degree in    Psychology from the University of British Columbia. There she   specialized in Behavioural Neurosciences and studied the effects of   environmental deprivation on behaviour, nervous system and growth   during development. Susan's dedicated drive for psychology led her   to  complete further graduate training in the Counselling Psychology  pro gram at the City University of Seattle. Susan is a published author  who has earned two Brain Star awards from the Canadian Institute of  Health Research (CIHR) for her published manuscripts in the area of   early human development and received an award from the Canadian   Academy of Geriatric Psychiatry (CAGP) for her research on major   depression in tertiary care psychiatry.

 

 

Gina Rio-BSc, RAc

After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Victoria, Gina Rino continued her education at the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Upon completing her exams to become a registered acupuncturist and level one Jin Shin Do acupressurist, Gina furthered her knowledge in holistic health by continuing studies in Eastern, Western, and Ayurvedic herbology to become a Planetary Herbologist.
